Week 2 - The North Face (Sep 25 - Oct 1)
Are you ready for a scavenger hunt? All of us at The North Face are excited to host this special event on the 92 campuses competing in the Outdoor Nation Campus Challenge.
Here’s how it’ll work:
Your Campus Challenge school coordinator will hide scavenger hunt clues in a local park near your campus, and it’s up to you to find it. Trust us, you don’t want to sit this one out. There’s free gear on the line. The only hint we can give is that you’ll need to get outside (and be a little active) to find the clues.
Once you find the final scavenger hunt location, upload a photo of yourself to the Campus Challenge app. One student from each school will be selected as the winner.
And that’s not even the best part! The North Face is also going to outfit three people head-to-toe:
- The person who logs the most running activities this week
- The person who logs the most hiking activities this week
- The person who logs the most climbing activities this week
In the case of a tie, winners will be chosen at random from eligible participants.
Adventure is waiting, so be on the lookout for an email from your campus coordinator to get started.
We’ve created one more way for you earn bonus points this week… click on the link below and sign up for our newsletter to receive +25 bonus points and a chance at one of five $100 gift cards from The North Face!
Week 3 - ENO (Oct 2-8)
Hey there Outsiders!
We at ENO have been looking forward to sponsoring the third week of the Outdoor Nation Campus Challenge. This week, it’s time to get creative with sharing your hammocks at the on-campus #ENOVillage event.
- Your campus administrator is organizing a #ENOVillage event on your campus. Bring a hammock, hangout, and upload an image of your #ENOVillage to the Campus Challenge app to receive +20 bonus points as well as a chance to win a brand new ENO hammock.
(This activity can only be logged once every 24 hours)
See you outside!
Week 4 - Hydro Flask (Oct 9-15)
We couldn’t be more pumped to be closing out the 2017 Outdoor Nation Campus Challenge. We’ve got some creative things in store for this week along with great ways to earn points and some Hydro Flask gear. We’re headed down the home stretch so be sure to invite your friends to jump in with you and finish strong.
Here’s how you can participate in the #HydroFlaskColorChallenge this week:
Each day during the Campus Challenge we will feature a different color water bottle and challenge you to find a place outside in nature that reflects that color. Hike to a lake on Pacific bottle day, or slackline in a grassy park on Kiwi day. Get creative, but whatever you choose to do, make sure you’re doing an activity outside and be sure to log that day’s activity by choosing the Hydro Flask Color Challenge activity from the list of options in the app.
Log an activity related to each days color and you’ll be entered to win that bottle on your campus that day.
